Also, the triwing screwdrivers which many of you ordered were sold out a while ago, which accounts for the delays in shipping your orders (especially those SHOCK shells coupled with triwing orders). SHOCK Arctic Blue IN-STOCK and other News Updates

SINGAPORE, 1 Feb 2007 (Thu) We've just received news from our logistics department that the sensational Arctic Blue SHOCK case is now in stock and ready-to-ship! Those who have placed your pre-orders some time ago need not wait anymore as we start shipping these babies tomorrow.

The Magnum Chrome has also arrived in our warehouses and is presently undergoing some quality checks before we package them out for further works in our factory. These should be ready for shipping in about a week or so. Targetted shipping date is approximately 8 Feb 2007, pending our factory response time.

Another batch of stock is presently in the factory undergoing works for the rest of the colors (alot of which are already sold out and hence the delay in getting these out to customers) and we expect some more delays due to the coming of the festive season in Asia. But we're doing the best we can.

SHOCK! Magnum Chrome Premium Edition - Coupled Series Debut

SINGAPORE, 20 Oct 2006 (Fri) The Magnum Chrome Premium Edition is the highest range of the SHOCK! series of replacement cases and serves to complement the present range of color selections (including originals). Not only does it replace the scratchable surface of the present DS Lite casing, it pushes the limits of aesthetics and places the DS Lite in the same league as high-end electronics.

The whole idea behind the Magnum Chrome Premium Edition is to eliminate the possibility of external scratches forever. By using the expensive process of copper-nickel-chrome electroplating, we were able to achieve a permanently superior protection layer that is both highly durable and aesthetically pleasing.

If you were to change to the Magnum Chrome Premium Edition ONLY, the process comprise of only 4 replacement parts. It should take you less than 10 minutes for assembly as we have simplified the prcedure to a mere 3 steps which is very similar to replacing the faceplate of the PSP :

Step 1 : Peel open the screw pads and unscrew the screws. Remove the battery, top cover and bottom case (and of course, the GBA cart cover).

Step 2 : Swap the 3 bottom case parts (the battery cover square screw placeholder, the stylus holder and GBA cart metal guide). Put the power and volume button on the new case. Replace the top, bottom cover and the GBA cart cover with the Magnum Chrome parts.

Step 3 : Re-screw the parts back into place and paste all the screw pads back. You now have a new SHOCK! armour that is second to none!

What is really interesting about the Magnum Chrome Premium Edition is the new Coupling concept : the ability to combine the Magnum Chrome with the other colored parts of the SHOCK! series. Gamers can now have a full chrome external with a colored internal of your choice – thus pushing the idea of customization even further! See below for an example of aMagnum Chrome coupled with Cool Black. Look out for the release of this new product by keeping an eye on this space.

SINGAPORE, 2 Oct 2006 (Mon) During the design phase of the SHOCK! DS lite replacement shells, we worked on a few issues: First was the fact that there were limited color releases in many continents (thus depriving certain groups of desirable colors). The second was the sound issue : The stock DS lite speakers is sometimes so weak that it hardly seems audible. The third and most serious, is the fact that the DS lite hinge is so fragile that even if handled with tender loving care, it cracks and causes agony to its owner. The fashionable game gadget, marred forever...

With the release of SHOCK! shells, these issues become a thing of the past. With 6 colors to choose from, users will be spoilt for choice. A slight modification to the speaker shell will enable louder sound transmissions. And finally, we have also reinforced the hinges to ensure a problem-free usage. Installation will be made even easier as we release full video instructions later on, in addition to our already detailed pictorial tutorial.

Upon our release of the Strat Clear prototype installation pictures earlier on, we received tremendous response from all quarters of cyberspace (even print magazines) asking for more details about Project SHOCK! and its release dates. Many were really pleased that the Xtreme Enterprise brand name has now been extended into the Nintendo product lines since it means that great quality and service can now be expected in aftermarket products.
